Aluminum boats docked at a marina — aluminum welding, Brooklyn NY

Aluminum is unforgiving: it conducts heat quickly, oxidizes instantly and cracks if it's welded wrong. We clean, prep and TIG-weld aluminum so repairs hold.

With Sheepshead Bay, Gerritsen and the marinas nearby, we see a lot of boat and trailer work — but we weld any aluminum part that comes through the door.

What we do: aluminum welding

Aluminum Welding FAQ

Can you weld cast aluminum?

Often yes, though cast aluminum can be porous. We'll assess the part first.

Can you weld my boat's T-top?

Yes — bring it in or we'll come to the marina with mobile gear for some jobs.

Will the repair be as strong as the original?

A good aluminum weld can be very strong, though heat does affect some alloys. We'll tell you if a part should be replaced instead.
