Much of Brooklyn's best ironwork is over a hundred years old. When it's damaged, the right answer is often to restore and match it rather than tear it out. We cut out rotted sections, fabricate matching pieces and blend them in so the repair disappears.
For new work, we design ironwork with classic proportions — the details that make a railing or gate look right instead of mass-produced.

Ornamental & Wrought Iron Work FAQ
Can you match a cast-iron ornament that's broken off?
Often yes — we source matching castings or fabricate a close replica in steel.
Is wrought iron still used?
True wrought iron is rarely produced today; modern 'wrought iron' work is mild steel worked in the traditional style. It looks the same and is very strong.
Do you do historic-district work?
Yes, and we can fabricate to Landmarks-approved drawings.
Do you offer free estimates?
Send us photos and rough measurements by text or email and we'll usually give you a price range quickly. For custom work we'll visit to measure.
What areas do you serve?
All of Brooklyn, plus Staten Island, Queens and Manhattan. South Brooklyn neighborhoods are closest to our shop.
