A single bumper strike can take out a gas meter, a storefront window or a building corner. Steel bollards and guards are cheap insurance.
We fabricate pipe bollards, set them deep in concrete, fill and cap them, and finish them in safety yellow or a color that suits your building.

Bollards & Protective Steel FAQ
Can you put bollards on the public sidewalk?
Bollards on City sidewalks require NYC DOT approval. Bollards on private property generally don't. We'll tell you which applies.
Do gas meters need protection?
Utilities and code commonly require meters exposed to vehicles to be protected. A pair of bollards or a steel guard is the usual fix.
Can bollards be removable?
Yes — removable bollards lock into ground sleeves so you can open a driveway when needed.
Do you offer free estimates?
Send us photos and rough measurements by text or email and we'll usually give you a price range quickly. For custom work we'll visit to measure.
What areas do you serve?
All of Brooklyn, plus Staten Island, Queens and Manhattan. South Brooklyn neighborhoods are closest to our shop.
