Stainless steel is the material for spaces that need to look sharp for years with almost no maintenance. We TIG-weld and finish stainless posts and handrails in our shop, then fit cable, rod or glass infill on site.
For buildings near the water or anything exposed to salt, we use 316 stainless, which resists the brown 'tea staining' that cheaper 304 can show outdoors.

Stainless Steel & Glass Railings FAQ
Is cable railing legal in NYC?
Cable infill can meet code when cables are tensioned and spaced so a 4-inch sphere can't pass, but horizontal infill is not allowed in every application. We'll confirm for your space before you pick a design.
Will stainless rust?
Stainless can show surface staining outdoors, especially 304 near salt. Using 316 and cleaning it a couple of times a year keeps it looking new.
Can you do a glass railing on a staircase?
Yes — raked glass panels follow the stair pitch with stainless posts or base shoes and a continuous handrail.
Do you offer free estimates?
