Every building needs safe access to the roof for repairs, HVAC service and inspections. Old wooden or rusted steel ladders are a liability.
We build ladders and ship's ladders to the exact height, with proper rung spacing, side rails that extend above the hatch and cages where needed.

Roof Ladders & Access Hatches FAQ
Can you replace a ladder under an existing roof hatch?
Yes. We measure the hatch and ceiling height and fabricate a new ladder that bolts in.
What's a ship's ladder?
A steep stair with treads instead of rungs — easier to climb than a ladder in a tight footprint.
Do I need a cage?
Cages and fall protection are typically needed on taller fixed ladders. We'll recommend what's appropriate for your height and use.
Do you offer free estimates?
Send us photos and rough measurements by text or email and we'll usually give you a price range quickly. For custom work we'll visit to measure.
What areas do you serve?
All of Brooklyn, plus Staten Island, Queens and Manhattan. South Brooklyn neighborhoods are closest to our shop.
